THE BREAKFAST OF GREATNESS

*THE BREAKFAST OF GREATNESS* Once a young promising lawyer came to me, and was like, "Eben" so many people just hate me and I don't understand. I look around and I can't find the one single reason for this hatred. I need support to do this and that, but no one is ready. People find problems with everything I do yet they can't explain what exactly it is I've done wrong to them. The more I tried to please them, the more they get offended! Eben, tell me something! What is happening? Is there any hope for my future? I'm troubled! What should I do again? I looked her straight in the face, Smiled, nodded my big head and said: "WELCOME TO THE LAND OF SUCCESS AND INFLUENCE" Then I burst out laughing! "You are not blessed until you are envied!" And a clear indication of envy is hatred without reason! The evidence of success is the envy of others!" No one ever envies anything inferior? Do you ever envy a man sitted on a refuse dump? How on earth does anyone envy something lower than himself? No one is envious of a mediocre good for nothing rubbish? so if you are hated, it clearly means you have greatness inside of you! You are not ordinary!!! This is why you should even be happy that people hate you. They envy you! Because you refuse to be normal! You are too promising for them! You will become too prominent!! When you do what everyone does, you become like everyone. With that, they can trample you down and run over you, and there, you have no oppositions, no confrontations! But once you refuse to flow with the tide, once you decide to stand out and shine above your peers, expect stones and cutlasses and spoilt fruits to be thrown at you. What else do you expect? To be an influence, to be prominent, you need to stand out. You need to be unique in your speech, voice, dressing and walk. Even in relations! You need to be exceptional and command some air of respect and admiration. Decency and decorum must be your hallmarks. Distinguish yourself from the crowd. Those who wish to be like you but can't, will definitely throw stones of "you are becoming too fair, you sound too artificial, you dress too much, who do you think you are, you take too much upon yourself, you are too knowing, you are too exuberant! Too zealous!" and so much more. They will call you names all aimed at reducing you to their level. Let's say you broadcast your writings and paintings or drawings or some special things you have done, its only envy and jealousy that will make others fight you based on these things when you have actually done them no wrong! Some times, even your facebook posts and stuffs will irritate others and they will come at you with strong opposition. Many won't like nor share your posts because they think you are not qualified to say some of the things you say. Others will refuse to support you just because they think you will become too big or great if they should support you. But friend, those are the prices great people pay. It will take you arduous and tortuous climbing of herculean mountains to get to the top of the ladder of influence. Or you want something cheap? At such times, the Christian goes to God in prayer. Perseverance comes to play and She sings. He prays. They praise and worship God, thanking Him for the opportunity to become influential in life. Now. What do you want in life? What do you want to do with your life? What do you hope to make out of school? What is your goal for this relationship? What is your hope after school? Where do you see yourself after 50years? How are you pursuing these things? Have you written them down? These are the things you must not take your eyes off. These are the things that should occupy your mind. These are the things you should be praying about and not crying about the hatred of some mediocre people in life. You were saved to make impacts, to fulfil a purpose. Seek that and pursue it! PURSUE GREATNESS!!! THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU AT THE TOP!!! GO FOR IT!!! ©Ë YAO AGBENYO (CEO @yafinc) +233543556235 facebook.com/yafinc Fb.me/eyaoagbenyo yaoagbenyo.blogspot.com
